McPherson Named Vermont Hockey MVP

Jessie McPherson capped off her spectacular rookie season in the NCAA being named the University of Vermont women’s hockey most valuable player.
McPherson, a goaltender from Chatham, Ontario, was the first player in Vermont Catamounts program history to be named the Hockey East Rookie of the Year.
She posted a spectacular 1.57 GAA and .938 save percentage in 7 starts, along with three shutouts.
