Abby Stonehouse Signs With London
Abby Stonehouse of Blenheim will make the jump to Junior hockey next season after signing with the PWHL’s London Devilettes.
Stonehouse split the 2019-2020 season between the U14 Chatham-Kent Cyclones ‘AAA’ team and the Chatham-Kent Crush U15 team.
The PWHL is the top development league in Ontario for prospects to move on to NCAA, ACHA, and USports hockey.
Recently, other Chatham-Kent products including Jessie McPherson (Vermont), Emma Gorski (Merrimack), Kaitlyn Isaac (Cornell), Taryn Jacobs (RPI), Sarah Marchand (Syracuse), Kirsten Horney (Adrian), Brooke Campbell (Connecticut), Milana Butera (Long Island), Bri Eid (Long Island), Sofia Smithson (Holy Cross), Brooke Michaud (Ryerson), Katreena Whiteye (Brock), Sydnee Baker (Western), Lindsay Sorrell (Adrian), Katherine Heard (Guelph), Erica Fryer (Toronto), and Olivia Hilton (Toronto)…to name a few, have used the PWHL as a stepping stone to University hockey following their time in Chatham.
