Katona Crushes The Competition To Win Alberta Provincial Title

Tilbury golfer Hailey Katona crushed the competition at the Alberta Ladies Amateur Golf Championship this week to win her second straight tournament.

Katona shot rounds of 74, 66, and 66 to win the Provincial title with a -10 total.

Only four players shot under par, and Katona finished 5 strokes ahead of the second place players.

Last month, Katona won the Ontario Women’s Match Player Championship.

She was in Alberta to prepare for the Canadian Amateur Championships which take place July 27-30 in Spruce Grove, Alberta.

Katona will be playing NCAA golf this coming year for Mercer University.
