Former Maroon Gus Ford Signs With Macon Mayhem

Former Chatham Maroons star Gus Ford has signed a professional contract to play with the SPHL’s Macon Mayhem.

Ford spent parts of two seasons with the Chatham Maroons between 2014 and the 2015-2016 season when he served as an assistant captain for Chatham.

Following his time in Chatham, Ford spent four seasons playing NCAA DIII hockey at Northland College. Upon graduation, Ford played three games in the SPHL for the Quad City Storm scoring a goal and an assist.

Ford like many, did not play last season due to COVID-19.
