Jacobs, Strohm, Campbell Headed To High Performance Camp
A trio of Southwest Wildcats with local connections will head to the OWHA U18 High Performance camp this month.
Walpole Island’s Taryn Jacobs is among the group. Jacobs committed to play NCAA DI hockey for RPI earlier this year. The smooth skating blueliner is in her third season with Southwest.
Also attending the camp are former Chatham Outlaws and Chatham-Kent Crush members Rylee Strohm and Brooke Campbell. Campbell who made her NCAA commitment to Connecticut is a third year player in the league, while Strohm will see her first season of play in PWHL after skating with the team during COVID.
The OWHA will be host the U18 High Performance Invitational Camp from September 3-5 in Alliston, Ontario.
The camp aims to select Team Ontario at the Canadian Nationals in Dawson’s Creek, B.C this year.
