Maroons Drop OT Decision To LaSalle
The Chatham Maroons dropped a close decision in overtime on the road Wednesday at the hands of the LaSalle Vipers.
After falling behind 2-0 early in the game, Cameron Welch scored, and assisted on the tying goal by Dylan Glinski to knot things at 2-2 midway through the third.
In the extra frame however, LaSalle’s Nic Pavia beat Chatham goalie Luka Dobrich to lift the Vipers to the win. Former Chatham-Kent Cyclones blueliner Spencer Lecot assisted on the winner for LaSalle.
Chatham is back in action this weekend with back-to-back home games Saturday at 2pm against Leamington and Sunday at 3:30pm against Sarnia.
