Flags Topple Blades

The Mooretown Flags handed the Blenheim Blades a 7-2 beating Sunday night in Blenheim. The Flags are currently in 3rd place, 8 points ahead of the 5th place Blades.
The Flags jumped out to an early lead when Quinton Johnston scored three minutes into the game. Blenheim’s Seth Henderson replied less than a minute later to knot things 1-1. This would be as close as the game got the Flags would score the next two goals to go up 3-1.
Blenheim rookie Brett Wegrzyn notched his first junior goal 8 minutes into the second to bring them within one, at 3-2. Mooretown would go on to scored four un answered goals to post the win. The Flags other goals were scored by Brock Barber, Kyle Flammino , Greg Hay, Luke Houle, Brodie Conlon and Kaden Babcock.
The Blades are off till Friday when they make the trip to Lakeshore to face the 17-0 Canadiens.
