The NHL has entered their holiday break early after a rising number of COVID-19 cases continued to rip through the league.

Wallaceburg’s Seth Griffith made his Edmonton Oilers debut this week, while Dresden’s TJ Brodie of the Toronto Maple Leafs was placed into COVID-19 protocol himself.

Travis Konecny (Philadelphia Flyers) and Brandon Montour (Florida Panthers) are other local product in the NHL this season.
