Beselaere Commits To Lambton College

Chatham basketball player Marissa Beselaere has committed to play basketball for the Lambton College Lions in 2022-23.

Beselaere, a UCC Lancers student, is Lambton’s first commitment for 2022-23.

“Lambton was the perfect fit for me, both from an academic and athletic standpoint because it’s not too far from home,” said Beselaere in a Lambton news release. “Being able to learn but also play the sport I love at Lambton College is exciting, as I have heard many great things from not only the coaches, but other students and the professors.”

The point guard and shooting guard also plays club basketball for the Wallaceburg Airhawks, and will studt Pre-Health at Lambton College.

She also hopes to make an immediate impact on the court.

“Hard working and determined is how I would describe myself as a basketball player,” added Beselaere. “I love to push not only myself, but also my teammates to excel above and beyond in the sport of basketball.”

“I am determined in the decisions I make on the court while being a team player, and I like being able to understand everybody’s roles and the individual skills that each person has to offer.”
