When registration has opened up, a follow-up email will be sent out by CMBA.
The cost is $65 plus HST per child.
All participants will receive a Blue Jays hat, t-shirt and digital baseball manual with information to help develop their skills.
In 2013, 2016, 2017 and 2018, over 100 youngsters attended the Blue Jay Clinics hosted at Fergie Jenkins Field at Rotary Park.
This year’s clinic is for boys and girls 8 to 12 years of age (7-year old’s turning 8 in 2022 can register also)
Players will rotate through 6 stations including hitting, infield, outfield, baserunning, agility and a game (whiffle ball). Players are divided up by age and receive a coloured wristband once they arrive at the field which serves as their group for the day.
Instructional clinics are taught exclusively by Blue Jays Baseball Academy instructors that are NCCP registered, experienced coaches, who have been trained in the “Blue Jays Way” of teaching baseball to youth.
Instructional Clinics also serve as a fundraising opportunity for the host baseball association as $25 from each registration is donated back to the host organization after the first 25 registrations.
