Negri Wins Two National Titles

Blenheim’s Emma Negri recently won two National titles at the 2022 Canadian Indoor Track & Field Championships in New Brunswick.

Negri, who is still 13, competed in the U16 Women’s Indoor Shot Put (3kg) and won gold with a throw of 11.12m. 

Next for Negri was the U16 Women’s Weight Throw (12lb) where she won her second gold with a toss (and personal best) of 17.01m, narrowly missing out on breaking the Ontario Provincial record of 17.20m for her age category.
