Group Aiming To Build Indoor Tennis and Pickleball Facility in Chatham-Kent
A group of Chatham-Kent tennis and pickleball enthusiasts are hoping to build an indoor facility for the sports in Chatham.
“We’ve received approval / funding from Tennis Canada / Rogers and CK Municipality to build an indoor tennis / pickleball facility at the Doug Allin courts in Chatham,” a spokesperson for the group wrote to CKSN.
The group has received a commitment for $400,000 pending their ability to raise an aditional $800,000 this year for the proect.
As a fundraiser, the group has partnered with Peak Athletic Training to provide a combination of tennis lessons and strength and conditioning training at the Doug Allin courts in Chatham.
All proceeds are going directly to the initiative. See registration information below:
