Maroons Complete The Upset, Advance To Western Conference Finals

The Chatham Maroons completed their upset of the London Nationals Wednesday night on the road, edging the Nationals 6-5 in the deciding game.

Chatham got scoring from six different players including David Brown, Lucas Fancy, Cameron Welch, Cameron Symons, Connor Paronuzzi, and Dylan Glinski.

Leading 5-2 heading into the third period, London mounted an impressive comeback scoring three times to send the game to overtime.

In the extra frame, Paronuzzi ended the game, with assists to Craig Spence and Cameron Graham on the powerplay.

Chatham now awaits the winner of the Leamington Flyers versus St. Marys Lincolns series which is knotted at 2-2.
