Eliott Cowan Commits To Ontario Tech

Chatham-Kent basketball standout Eliott Cowan has committed to play USports basketball next season for the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks.

“What drew me to Ontario Tech was the small class sizes, the accessibility to professors and opportunities, the hands on learning and the beautiful brand new buildings that came with it. It was a very inviting campus,” said Cowan of choosing Ontario Tech, where she will study kinesiology.

“Although they are reasonably new to OUA, they have already had some big games under the new coach Megan Grant. I am really excited to be a part
of the building years and Ontario Tech’s women’s basketball history. I
am eager to spend hours in the Ontario Tech athletic facilities as my academic and athletic journeys continue.”

This season, Cowan played JUEL basketball in Windsor, and has been a multi-sport star for the UCC Lancers.

“I am excited to have the opportunity to focus on my basketball and academics. I can’t wait to meet my teammates and grow my skills and knowledge of the game I love under the leadership of Megan Grant and her coaching staff. This is a dream come true.”
