Kent Bridge Returns To The Diamond With A Win

In the Lambton Kent Ladies Fastball League tonight the Kent Bridge Huskies defeated Corunna by a score of 16-0 in a four inning mercy rule victory in Courtright. It was our first game of the year and first since COVID. 

The winning pitcher was Sarah Ytsma who pitched the first three innings allowing one hit and one walk while striking out 6. Hannah Roesch pitched the fourth inning allowing no hits. 

Hannah Roesch led the way with three singles. Sarah Ytsma, Lauren Nicholson, Sarah Vellinga and Cassie Whiteye all had 2 singles each. Aliyah Whiteye and Ellen Sinclair each had a triple while Katreena Whiteye had a double. 

The Kent Bridge Huskies next game is Thursday at home.
