Red Devils Over Power Generals

The Wallaceburg Red Devils were too much for the Welland Generals to handle Sunday afternoon in Wallaceburg.
The Generals did not help their cause , with two bench minor penalties for too many men. The Red Devils scored three power play goals in the first period , along with four even strength marker to lead 7-1 after one period.
Wallaceburg would outscore Welland by a 6-3 margin to further the gap, and lead 13-4 after two. The Red Devils would add three more in the third, with the Generals only adding one goal to their side. The final score would end at 16-5. The Devils Tanner Cole had a big night with 7 goals, Riley Roe added a hat trick along with Mason Myers-Whiteye. Ty Myers had a pair of goals and a single went to Notah Hopkins.
The Devils are riding a four game win streak, as they also beat London on Friday night, 9-8 in ot. Wallaceburg is on the road until they return Thursday night May 19, to face the Elora Mohawks . Game time is 8pm.
