Hannah Thompson Wins Three Provincial Gold Medals

Blenheim Blast swimmer Hannah Thompson, 14, won a trio of gold medals in Markham this weekend at the Ontario Youth Junior Championship swimming meet.

Thompson opened her Championship meet on the first day of competition them in the 400m freestyle with a time of 4:43.01.

She followed up that performance with gold in the 1500m with a time of 18:54.55 and in the 800m with a time of 9:55.35.

Two other Blenheim Blast swimmers, Cora Holt, 17, and Marty Konecny, 19, also competed in the meet.
