Alex Park Selected In NAHL Draft by the Shreveport Mudbugs

Chatham’s Alex Park was selected in the second round, 48th overall by the Shreveport Mudbugs in the 2022 North American Hockey League (NAHL) Draft.
A six-foot-four defender, Park spent last season with the CCHL’s Ottawa Jr. Senators where he helped his team to a league championship scoring 10 points in 45 games for Ottawa.
Park is an alumni of the Chatham-Kent Cyclones ‘AAA’ and Windsor Jr. Spitfires ‘AAA’ organizations, and was a U18 OHL Draft pick of the Windsor Spitfires.
The NAHL is a common recruitment ground for NCAA Division I programs.
