Depencier To Player Junior A In Nova Scotia
Dresden’s Beau Depencier is heading east to play Junior A hockey in Nova Scotia for the Truro Bearcats.
Depencier, 17, spent last season with the USPHL’s Atlanta MadHatter, his rookie Junior campaign prior to joining Truro in the Maritime Junior Hockey League.
“The Bearcats feel like a good fit for me this season because their style of play suits the way I play. They have a consistent track record of competitive teams and every year their goal is to win a championship,” Depencier told The Chatham Daily News.
With Atlanta last season, Depencier notched 31 points in 44 games. Prior to making the step to Junior, Beau Depencier played prep hockey at The Hill Academy, and was a member of the Chatham-Kent Cyclones ‘AAA’ organization.
