Anderson Fenton Headed To Huntington University

Highgate baseball players Anderson Fenton is making the move to play for Huntington University in Indiana this coming season.

Fenton, who played for the Chatham Diamonds as a youth, and later for the Fieldhouse Pirates in Burlington has spent the past two seasons playing college baseball for Marshalltown Community College in Iowa.

“I knew it was the perfect fit,” Fenton said about moving to Huntington University after the school reached out to him.

The change in school allows Fenton to continue his baseball career, while also studying agriculture.

“Growing up on a farm I always wanted to attain a degree in agriculture,” he said. “Huntington has both a growing agriculture program and solid baseball program.”

The Huntington Foresters play in the NAIA’s Crossroads League.
