Golden Eagles U15’s Win Eastern Canadian Championship

The Chatham Golden Eagles are the best U15 team in Eastern Canada. That fact became true after the Golden Eagles won the Eastern Canadian Championship in Portugal Cove, Newfoundland.

After finishing second in pool play with a 3-2 record, the Chatham Golden Eagles advanced directly to the final defeating Prince Edward Island’s Stratford Stealers 6-0.

The PEI team however would fight their way back to the final to face Chatham in a rematch. This game would prove much tighter, but in the end Chatham took a 7-5 win to capture the gold medal and Eastern Canadian title.
