The Chatham Maroons’ roster has grown to six players this offseason as the team signed five new players, including three Chatham-Kent hockey products this week.

Chatham-Kent players Rorey Elson and Seth Merritt were inked by the team, as was former Chatham-Kent Cyclones defender Brenden McKay.

The team also signed three Windsor Jr. Spitfires players, Jaxen Fortier-Smith, Tyler Trealout, and Joshua Lepain this offseason. Lepain was a fifth round draft pick of the OHL’s London Knights.

Elson and McKay both played U18 ‘AAA’ for the Elgin-Middlesex Chiefs last year, while Merritt played for the Wallaceburg Thunderhawks.
