Carleton Leads Canada Into World Cup Quarters
Chatham’s Bridget Carleton has been a dominant force through the preliminary round of the FIBA World Cup in Australia.
Carleton topped all Canadian scorers in the preliminary round averaging 14.8 points per game along with 6.8 rebounds. Her scoring total placed Carleton 9th in the world.
To close out preliminary play Carleton went off scoring 27 points in an 88-65 win over Mali.
Canada will face Puerto Rico in the quarterfinals Thursday.
