Bluebirds Avenge Loss To Jets
By Wyatt Williams
The Tilbury Bluebirds only loss of the season was to the Strathroy Jets, but last night at home they extracted their pound of flesh with a convincing 5-1 win.
The Birds were pushing from the puck drop, and by the end of the 1 st period enjoyed a 3-0 lead on goals by Dylan Denomme, Stephane Crevier and Kyler Carter.
In the second period David Leblanc would score, and Travis Winkworth would add one in the final frame. The shot count was 48-30 in the Bluebirds favour. Both teams netminders Ryan Polidori and Jets Josh diamond had solid outings.
The Bluebirds are currently atop the league standings and are on the road until Dec 28 when they return home to host the Alvinston Killer Bees.

on this attempt, but did get one earlier in the 5-0 game.
