Nicholas Co-Captaining Canada Again

Blenheim’s Breanne Nicholas will again captain Team Canada’s Rugby 7s team, this time at Canada’s first stop on the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series 2023 in Dubai.

“Last season it was about creating stability and depth,” said Head Coach Jack Hanratty about the development of Canada’s roster. “We had a number of big performances, but this year we want to build on that with consistently challenging in the knockout rounds. With several key leaders returning to the pitch, we are excited to continue to progress and perform as a team this season.”

Nicholas was Canada’s leading scorer in 2022.

The tournament takes place from December 1-3 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
