Blenheim’s Abby Stonehouse is golden

Canada earned its second consecutive gold medal at the IIHF U18 Women’s World Hockey Championship, beating host Sweden 10-0 in Sunday’s final.

Blenheim native Abby Stonehouse finished the tournament with two goals and two assists.

The Canadians set new IIHF records for the greatest goal difference and most goals scored in a final.
