CK youth represents Cobra’s Taekwondo on the national stage

Local athlete Xander Formosa competed this past weekend at the 2023 National Championships in Toronto at Westin Harbour, representing Cobra’s Taekwondo Training Centre in Chatham.

There was one other athlete in the youth (10-11 years old) 38 kg division. In the best of three, Formosa won his match in two. He also played against the winner of the 34 kg division, once again winning in two matches.

Taekwondo Canada has yet to release if they will send a youth team to the PanAm Championships.

Formosa will continue to compete at several international events, regardless.
