Bowlers Representing CK at Ontario Winter Games

The Ontario Winter Games is taking place in the Renfrew/Ottawa area this month.

The event takes place from February 9-11, with the opening ceremonies on the 9th with competition of five pin bowling and other sports starting Feb 10th and Feb 11th.

Competing this week are Graeme McGillivray (Chatham Bowlerama) Alaina Moninger (Chatham Bowlerama), Marshall Browning (Chatham Bowlerama), and Kaitlyn Calvert (Chatham Bowlerama).

Their ages range from 12-17. Some of the competitors from Chatham are actually Juniors, but are competing at the senior level at the Winter Games.

The team will bowl seven games Friday and three Saturday morning. Then depending on their place, they may be playing for a medal later on Saturday.
