UCC Lancers win LKSSAA boys championship
The UCC Lancers won the LKSSAA Boys Championship Saturday night in a game that saw spectators arrive over an hour early just to secure a seat. Many fans were locked out and left outside because the gym was full to capacity.
The young Lancers did not disappoint, winning 73-49 over the Northern Vikings.
Caleb Roberts scored 24 points in the first half and won the John Thrasher Trophy as the MVP of the championship game.
The next matchup for UCC will be Holy Names on Friday, February 24 at 7:30 p.m. And if Saturday’s game was any indication, fans may want to get there an hour early to secure a seat.
