Dr. Jack Parry Award Nominees — Morgyn Woudenberg

Leading up to the annual Dr. Jack Parry Awards ceremony on June 15, CKSN will celebrate Chatham-Kent’s top student-athletes by featuring each local school’s nominees for 2023.

Morgyn Woudenberg

Ridgetown District High School is delighted to announce Morgyn Woudenberg as the its nominee for the esteemed Dr. Jack Parry Award.

Morgyn, a pleasant and determined student, possesses exceptional athletic talents. While she actively participates in volleyball, badminton, and baseball, her true excellence shines on the hockey rink.

Despite her relatively short time at RDHS, Morgyn has made a profound and lasting impression on the school community. Not only does she excel in her own pursuits, but Morgyn also selflessly mentors younger students, providing support and guidance.

Congratulations to Morgyn on this well-deserved recognition of her outstanding achievements and her role as a positive influence at RDHS.

Since 1994, Chatham Kent has recognized the top male and female graduating student athletes in each school. At the annual ceremony recognizing these top graduates, one male and one female are awarded the Dr. Parry Award along with a post secondary scholarship.

The award recognizes a balanced high degree of athletic ability, scholastic excellence, and contributions outside of the classroom to the school and community — a balance Dr. Parry himself embodied during his illustrious life.
