Memorial Arena set to reopen

Good news for the Chatham Maroons.

The team has received word from the municipality that repairs at Memorial Arena are on schedule and the ice will be ready for use this Sunday, October 1st.

Memorial Arena has been undergoing repairs since a leak was discovered under the floor of the compressor room, as well as issues with the piping.

The GOJHL club was moved to Thames Campus Arena for its final exhibition matchup and the first few games of the regular season, while other users were shifted to Erickson Arena.
