Lancers win SWOSSAA football title

Led by C.J. Roberts three touchdowns, the Ursuline Lancers won 21-16 over Windsor Herman to win the SWOSSAA AAA football title on Tuesday night in Windsor.

Ursuline jumped out to a 21-0 lead and held on to win.

The game was held at St. Clair College’s Acumen Stadium.

The OFSAA Bowl series is being played at Acumen Stadium, so both SWOSSAA finalists were guaranteed bowl berths.

Ursuline will play Niagara Falls A.N. Myer in the Central Bowl Tuesday, Nov. 28, at 5:30 p.m. Herman will play Toronto St. Michael’s in the Independent Bowl earlier that day.
