Local hockey players taking part in prospects game

The West roster for Saturday’s Provincial Junior Hockey League prospects game in Wingham, features a number of local hockey players.

Local players taking part include: Wallaceburg’s Dracen Campbell (Mooretown Flags), Chatham’s Brady Robertson (Dresden Kings), Port Lambton’s Garet Vandendool (Walpole Island Wild), Tilbury’s Nick Cameron (Essex 73’s) and Chatham’s Everitt Swayze (Blenheim Blades).

The West Team will take on the North Team at North Huron Wescast Community Centre, located in Wingham. The game starts at 1 p.m. The East and West prospects will play in Uxbridge.

The annual showcases bring together the top 16- and 17-year-old players in the PJHL.
