Maroons topple Sarnia 9-2

The Chatham Maroons had their worst loss of the season on Nov. 15, losing to Lasalle 11-3.

The Maroons bounced back with their biggest victory of the season, beating the Sarnia Legionnaires 9-2 on Sunday night at Chatham Memorial Arena.

Brendan Gouin had four goals to lead Chatham. Also scoring for the Maroons was Aidan Edwards with a pair, and Blain Bacik, Braeden Burke, and David Brown with singles.

Kaleb Papineau earned the victory in net.

The Maroons will play on the road in London on Wednesday, and then have home games Saturday and Sunday next weekend versus Londan and St. Marys respectively.
