Indian Creek wins elementary school boys volleyball title

Indian Creek Road Public School defeated Chatham Christian 3-2 to win the Chatham Elementary School boys volleyball title on Wednesday night at McNaughton Avenue Public School.

Indian Creek won (22-25, 25-12, 25-21, 13-25, 15-2) in a tight back-and-forth match.

Indian Creek coach Shawn McCormack, said the thing about an elementary school final it’s an environment where players grow as they prepare to play high school volleyball.

“The thing about this environment is that you can’t simulate it anywhere else, you try to prepare them in practice but nothing is like the real thing,” McCormack said, praising his team’s play under pressure.
