Maroons pick up big win versus LaSalle

As the Chatham Maroons work on moving up the GOJHL standings, they picked up a big road win on Wednesday night.

The Maroons won 5-4 against the LaSalle Vipers. With the two points, the Maroons are now five points behind LaSalle and the London Nationals who are tied for first place with 41 points.

Cale Marontate, Rorey Elson, Aidan Edwards, Josh Cleary, and Brody Gillis scored for the Maroons.

Kaleb Papineau won in Chatham’s net, while Tre Altiman picked up the loss for LaSalle.

The Maroons can gain more ground in the standings, as they will travel to St. Mary’s to place the third-place St. Mary’s Lincolns. Chatham is three points behind the Lincolns.
