Young Jr. wins his fourth All-Ontario Farmers championship

John Young Jr. and his rink were victorious at the 37th annual All-Ontario Farmers curling Bonspiel held on the weekend at the Sydenham Community Curling Club in Wallaceburg.

Young beat our the Shawn Parish rink from Port Perry in the final. Young’s rink curls out of the Golden Acres (Blenheim) curling club.

Young’s team included; vice Ben Curtis, second Jeff Deschryver, and lead Vince Debrouwer.

This is Young’s fourth Farmers’ championship as skip, as he also won in 2002, 2018 and 2020.

Other winners include: Jerry Meyskens, Syenham (B Flight); Harry Courtis, Sydenham (C Flight)
