Chatham-Kent wins LKSSAA title

The Chatham-Kent Golden Hawks outlasted the Ursuline Lancers, winning the LKSSAA AAA senior girls volleyball final on Feb. 16 at CKSS.

The Golden Hawks swept Ursuline 3-0 (25-21, 25-20, 26-24) to advance to the SWOSSAA final against Windsor Holy Names on Friday in Chatham. The winner will attend the OFSAA AAA tournament in Markham March 4-6.

Chatham-Kent is the defending SWOSSAA AAA champion.

Both teams match up really well against each other. The Golden Hawks and Lancers tied for first in the regular season at 10-0-2 after splitting their two meetings. The Hawks won the point-differential tiebreaker by only two points.
