Maroons have four games in next five days
With four games in five days, the Chatham Maroons are moving into a busy stretch of schedule.
On Thursday, the Maroons will travel up Highway 40 to take on the Sarnia Legionnaires. On the weekend the Maroons have a pair of games at Chatham Memorial Arena, a rare Saturday night game versus Komoka, and a Sunday game versus Strathroy. Both games start at 7 p.m.
Then on Monday afternoon, the Maroons will have a Family Day game in Komoka.
The Maroons sit in fifth place in the GOJHL’s Western Conference, with 48 points (23-18-2). They are seven points behind the fourth-place LaSalle Vipers.
In what could be a playoff preview, the Maroons beat the LaSalle Vipers 5-1 on Feb. 10 in Chatham. Jacob Cloutier, Rorey Ellson, Cale Marontate, Josh Cleary and Colton Henderson scored for Chatham. Noah Mathieson, Brody Gillis and Graydon Jones all had two assists for the Maroons.
The Maroons have seven games left on their regular season schedule.
