Blenheim Golden Acres Curling Club wins Kent Cup

The Golden Acres Curling Club out of Blenheim took home the prestigious Kent Cup curling championship held on March 16 at the Ridgetown Curling Club

The Kent Cup is a curling competition held between the four curling clubs in Chatham-Kent.

The clubs include; Golden Acres, Chatham Granite Club, Sydenham Community Curling Club (Wallaceburg) and the Ridgetown Curling and Golf Club. There are four divisions, with teams picking up points for their results. The divisions include, men’s, women’s, mixed and senior mixed.

Golden Acres shared the title last year with Chatham, and has won the Kent Cup three out of the four years that the event has taken place.
