Red Devils hire Mike Lines as head coach
The Wallaceburg Red Devils Junior B lacrosse team’s new bench boss has a diverse and successful resume.
The Red Devils announced that St. Catharines native Mike Lines will be their head coach.
Lines has professional lacrosse coaching experience, coaching the Minnesota Swarm for three years (2010-2012).
Lines has served as the offensive coordinator for the Six Nations Chiefs of Major Series Lacrosse, winning back back-to-backto back Mann Cups with the team in 2013 and 2014. Before joining the Chiefs, Lines served on the coaching staff of the Jr. A St. Catharines Athletics, and won the Jim Bishop Memorial Award for Outstanding Coaching Staff in 2008.
The past couple of years, Lines coached Junior B in St. Catharines.
As a player, Lines won 1990 and 1991 Minto Cups with the St. Catharines Athletics
Joining Mike on the bench will be associate coaches; Gord Lilley, Cecil Jacobs, Noble Jacobs, and Rob Pollock.
