Red Devils win big at home over Guelph

The Wallaceburg Red Devils Junior B team improved their record to 5-8 on the season, by winning 12-6 to Guelph on Sunday at Wallaceburg Memorial Arena.

Scoring for Wallaceburg were Brandon Taylor with three goals, Dracen Campbell, Jay C Morlog and Kaelen Smith with two goals, and Kanton Verstraeten, Max Wojowicz and Reece Parker with single goals. Parker and Colton Noah each had three assists. Waukiigan Shognosh was strong in the Red Devils’ net, making 56 saves in the win.

On May 23 the Red Devils lost on the road to Windsor 5-3.

Reece Parker, Cohen Veenstra and Kanton Verstraeten scored for Wallaceburg, with goalie Waukiigan Shognosh making 45 saves in the loss.

The Red Devils travel to Cambridge this Friday (May 31) and host the Hamilton Bengals on Sunday June 2, with game time 4 p.m.
