Panda Strong

Seth “Panda” Strong continued his torrid pace at the plate for the Chatham Kent Barnstormers to take home the Intercounty Baseball League’s HRD Bat Company Batter of the Week (June 3-9) honours.

The Ohio native batted .500 on the week (5 for 10) with two home runs and seven RBIs as his Barnstormers snaped their seven-game losing skid Sunday in Hamilton.

Strong is a triple crown threat as he currently leads the IBL with seven home runs, leads the league lead in RBIs with 16 and is batting ..404 on the season, which is the second highest average in the IBL.
