OFSAA in the cards for Dresden

The Lambton-Kent Cardinals boys soccer team will advance to the OFSAA ‘A’ soccer championships being held in Lincoln, June 6-8.

The Cardinals defeated Windsor Lajeunesse 2-0 on May 31 in Dresden. Carter Neve and Konnor Smith scored for the Cardinals. Griff Myers posted the shutout.

The game was a challenge game for the second SWOSSAA OFSAA berth. Lambton-Kent lost to Westview Freedom Academy 2-0 in Windsor the day prior.

It is believed that this is the first time a boys soccer team from Lambton-Kent has qualified for the provincial championships.
