St. Croix named provincial all-star

Port Lambton’s Samantha St. Croix was named a OUA Western Conference second-team all-star. She is a goalie with the Western Mustangs.
Ontario University Athletics (OUA) announced their list of award winners and provincial all-stars in an announcement made on Thursday, Oct. 31.
The Mustangs finished with a 9-0-3 regular season record. During the regular season St. Croix was second in the OUA in save percentage (.893), third in goals-against average (0.50) and tied for fourth in goals allowed (six).
Western lost to York University in the OUA quarterfinals.
A fourth-year player with the Stangs, St. Croix is a graduate of Wallaceburg District Secondary School.
