Hawks win junior volleyball title

In the LKSSAA junior girls AAA volleyball final on Friday, the Chatham-Kent Golden Hawks beat the Ursuline Lancers in a five-set match that lasted three hours.

The final was played at Ursuline. The matches were; 25-17, 26-28, 25-21, 18-25, 15-9

Chatham-Kent now hosts the SWOSSAA junior final on Friday, February 21 at 4:30 p.m.

During the regular season in the junior AA/AAA league, Chatham-Kent had a 12-1-1 record, while the Lancers had a 11-0-3 record.

In the senior AAA final, Ursuline swept Chatham-Kent 3-0 (25-14, 25-10, 25-14)
