Ethan Jordan gets CFL Combine invite

Ethan Jordan (WLU Athletics)

The next week will be big for Chatham’s Ethan Jordan as he prepares for a career in professional football.

Jordan is scheduled to take part in the CFL combine being held March 21-23 in Regina Saskatchewan. The 2025 CFL Draft will take place on Tuesday, April 29.

Along with getting weighed and measured, Jordan will also undergo drills the first-day of the combine in the bench-press, 40-yard dash, vertical jump, broad jump, 3-cone drill and shuttle drill.

On Saturday, March 22 and Sunday, March 23, hopefuls will strap on the pads and take to the field for two days of practices looking to leave an impression on general managers, coaches, and scouts in attendance ahead of the CFL Draft.

CFL.ca will have all of the results for each drill as well as insights and analysis.

A graduate of Chatham-Kent Secondary School, Jordan was also scheduled to attend the University of Buffalo pro football day on March 13, which will be attended by CFL and NFL scouts.

Jordan was named a first-team U Sports All-Canadian in 2023 and 2024 at Wilfrid Laurier University. The five-foot-ten, 166-pound receiver made 243 catches for 3,274 yards and 27 touchdowns with the Golden Hawks, joining Andy Fantuz and Don Blair as the only receivers in U Sports history with multiple 1,000-yard seasons.
