Maroons’ Lachance and Campbell named to conference all-rookie team

Two high-scoring Chatham Maroon rookies were named to the GOJHL Western Conference all-rookie team.

Ian Lachance and Liam Campbell were named as forwards on the team.

Lachance, a native of Timmins, earned 51 points (26 goals, 25 assists) in 45 games. Campbell earned 50 points (27 goals, 23 assists) in 41 games.

Lachance and Campbell were third and fourth respectively in GOJHL rookies for points.

Others who were named to the GOJHL Western Conference rookie team were Sarnia’s Carter Fogarty, London’s Caleb Mitchhell, Kitchener-Waterloo’s Devon Ferroni and St. Mary’s goaltender Niko Armellin.
