Stonehouse makes pro debut

Brady Stonehouse

After finishing up a four-year OHL career, Blenheim’s Brady Stonehouse made his professional hockey debut on the weekend.

Stonehouse played two games with the AHL Bakersfield Condors on the weekend. He finished his overage OHL season with Peterborough in March. The Petes didn’t qualify for the OHL playoffs.

The Condors leading scorer and captain is Wallaceburg’s Seth Griffith.

In four OHL seasons with Ottawa and Peterborough, Stonehouse played in 248 games, and put up 218 points, while earning a reputation as a gritty two-way player.

The Edmonton Oilers signed Stonehouse to a three-year entry-level contract in October 2023.
