Carleton hits milestones

Chatham’s Bridget Carleton hit a milestone, scoring her 1,000th WNBA point recently.

Carleton, who is now in her seventh WNBA season, is averaging six points per game and 4.3 rebounds this season with the Minnesota Lynx.

The 28 year-old Carleton, also grabbed her 500th career rebound in her last game.

The Minnesota Lynx, who made the WNBA finals last season, have started this season strong with an 8-0 record. Carleton has been in the starting lineup for all eight games and is averaging over 30 minutes a game of playing time as a key member of the Lynx.

The Lynx play Dallas on Sunday.
